Precise corrections are welcome. Identify the exact page and claim, explain the proposed change, and include a source that directly supports it whenever possible.

Before reporting

  • A different kanji spelling may legitimately have a different reading or meaning; quote the exact variant.
  • A dictionary gloss describes a character, not necessarily a bearer's intended whole-name meaning.
  • A survey result is limited to its stated year and sample; a newer unsourced list does not automatically supersede it.
  • Do not include private personal information. Copied or downloaded text may become visible wherever you choose to share it.

Prepare a correction report

Required fields are marked. This form does not send data or publish a report. It creates a Markdown file in your browser, and you can review it before sharing it through an established channel.

Prefer an official source, dictionary, survey methodology, or institutional reference that directly supports the requested change.

Current delivery status

This release does not publish a verified public email address or issue tracker. The form therefore prepares a portable report without pretending that it has been submitted. A network submission option will be added only after its destination, privacy terms, and access for ordinary visitors are confirmed.

What happens after a report

  1. Step 1

    Reproduce the claim

    The page, exact text or field, and linked sources are identified before an editorial change is considered.

  2. Step 2

    Check evidence scope

    The proposed source must directly support the requested field and is recorded with its limitations.

  3. Step 3

    Review dependencies

    Related name pages, meaning collections, generator links, metadata, and sitemaps are checked when affected.

  4. Step 4

    Publish only after gates pass

    A correction is not live until data, type, build, static SEO, and relevant browser checks succeed.

These steps begin only after a report reaches a maintainer through a confirmed communication channel. Preparing or downloading a draft does not mean the report has been received, and a requested wording is not guaranteed to be adopted.

Form privacy

The form runs in your browser and prepares a correction report. The site does not receive or store the form fields. Downloading creates a local Markdown file; copying uses your browser's clipboard permission. No network request is made by either action.
